Wasn't there a recent article about converting a C4 into 2 wheel drive?

I know I recently saw an article about converting a C4 to 2 wheel drive. Anyone know what publication it was in and the date?

Panarama also did a 2 part series on this over the summer. Not sure which months as I have since passed mine along to another Porsche owner, but I believe it was in the May- July range...

disconnect the sliding trans to driveshaft coupler, slide it forward and install one allen bolt in the rear hole of the coupler to keep it in place. poor man's 2WD.
i had a 4wd vanagon once that didn't quite pull some hills in 4WD, so i took out the driveshaft and voila, more power.

Joel Reiser did a 2 part article on converting a 964 C4 to C2 in in April and May '07 Panorama

Any 964C4 owner or prospective owner should read it, it provides an eye opening perspective on these cars.

993C4 is totally diffferent and can easily be changed to C2

996C4 uses a system similar to 993 but the additional complication of PDAS makes it unlikely to be an easy conversion.
