Who makes a center armrest??

I am looking for a center arm rest for my 911 and our host shows two that they offer but the one I like is NLA. Does anyone know of any others or can you post pics of what you have?

J.C. Whitney, here. Not the prettiest or the most elegant, but they add storage and makes a huge difference in neck and back comfort on long drives.

I take them out at the track. Hard to beat the price: $39.99

Not bad but I would need a tan and they only offer black or gray

There's an ad for a center arm rest/storage bin in the current issue of Excellence. Don't have it here with me at work but can post info tomorrow.

I'm thinking I might be able to live with the black for the price of that JC Whitney armrest.

I'd like to know that too.......

I have one in my 930 from:

http://www.birdautomotive.com/911.htm

I like it but it wasn't cheap. The JC one would be great for my '85, but again just curious how it mounts.

I just ordered a JC Whitney armrest in black. I can take pics and show how it mounts next week when it gets here.

slantnose - you can die the JC armrest tan if desired. It's not hard to do with a small area like that.

Keep in mind: the J.C. Whitney one is not very well-built. But for me, it does the job of supporting my arms on long trips. It has an adjustable base like this:

It can probably be modified to mount more or less permanently in the car.

To change the color, google "leatherique" or "surflex."

Here's my armrest/cup holder.
I don't have any info on it though, it came with the car.
The cup holders are nice to have, though they can interfere with shifting at times.
The armrest itself is a little wide for my sport seats, as you can see in second picture (the indention on the drivers seat's right bolster).
Overall I recommend that you make sure the one you pick fits (with some space around it) in between your seats before you buy it.

Why is the bottom on one of your seats cloth and the rest is leather?

I have covers for my seats that came with the car,
Unfortnately the PO thought the leather seats were too hot so he put the seat covers on them. When I got the car I took them off and low and behold there was a crack across the passenger side seat along the centerline seem. I have it covered up since I would prefer not to look at the crack and others as well.

I bought another passenger seat to replace the sport seat until I can get it recovered. Unforunately the new seat is fully electric and didn't come with the motors or controller. So I installed the ones from the sport seat and it didn't work out properly. So I couldn't install it and now I have a spare seat I can't use right now sitting in my garage. Oh well, that's how it goes for now.
