have you done anything to it yet? oil change re adjust valves?

Sorry I missed your post. I babied it for the first 1000 miles and changed the oil / valve adjust. While it was there I asked my wrench to make sure I was getting WOT. Turns out - the plastic bushings, on the trans linkage, were all worn out so I was only getting about 75%. I never have had it WOT (until now)!!!! So after the top end and the WOT - I'm in heaven!!!!

good for you. glad to hear it worked out well. i have about 25000 left before i need to do the same as you. #4 exhaust was tightened TOO ******* MUCHO somewhere in its life. when i bought the car(long story) i asked about guides("dont worry) asked about valve adjust(dont worry) and here i am 9000 miles later with #4 exhaust leaking down 19%!!!! all my others were el perfecto for having a 120K miles on it now.

sooooooooooooo we adjusted all to spec(.004 intake/exhaust) and left the problematic number #vier(4) @ .006 to live out its life until rebuild.

i know where i am at and thats a relief in and of itself.

GHL w/heaters 2 in/2 out ist muy muy WUNDERBAR!
