help need fresh air
This is my first post into such a wealth of knowledge so excuse me if my descriptions are not totally accurate.
My Carrera 87 euro spec is A/C but of course it does not work and I am not pretending to fix it. I just want some running air inside the cockpit when is hot outside (i live in sunny Madrid!). I read some leads into this question but I am not sure if I can use the A/C fan control to get needed air even if it blows kinda warm. Will that mess or somehow damage the peculiar, to say the less, ventilation system of the car? Please answer quickly is hot outside! ![]()

I ditched my AC but kept the fan in the smugglers box. It moves a lot of air. I did remove the condensor from the assembly. I'm glad I kept it. Better than just the dash fan.

Thanks for early response Jerry.
So, I am right assuming that i can safely use the fan without removing the condensor or disconnecting anything from the AC?

Yes you can use the fan. Either turn the thermostat all the way to the warm side so the compressor doesn't come on or go back to the compressor in the engine compartment and just unplug the one wire that goes to it.
