SWB Engine Upgrade Options

Currently have a stock 2.2 and would like to upgarde to either 2.4 , 3.0 or 3.2 .
Need advice as to parts that need to be changed in order for the swb to accept the engine. Anyone who has done such a conversion can pass some info would be kindly appreciated.

You understand of course that all SWB cars came with 2,0 liter engines. Remember also that people who value SWB cars don't do it for the huge power and wide tires, they do it for originality.

That said, here's my thread on the subject of hopping up 2,0 engines. Ultimately I concluded that modern cams and slightly higher compression pistons were the way to go, along with the replacement of most of the wear parts in the engine. Good luck!

Suggestions for warmed over 2.0 901/05?
