Do not do this....

1986 Carrera motor... in my 914-6

put a 2" piece of hose with a k&n filter on the crankcase breather...

Oil blows out everywhere, now i have to clean up the mess and put a decent system on there...

Anybody know if 3/4 (-12) hose will fit on there?

Don't feel bad, I have read where others have made the same mistake.

As I read other threads; the crankcase breather should connect back to the oil tank vent ...and the vent tube at the oil filler cap is the one to be vented to a catch can or filter to the atmosphere.
