ERP adjustable spring plates

I am considering adding these to my winter project list but am wondering exactly how much "adjustability" there is? Will they make cornering balancing, and height adjustment easier? Is it a simple turn of a wrench, or am I way off here?

Thanks for the help.

Anyone? I already have the front and rear bushings... just wondering if I spend the additional money for the spring plates.

Please help.

I've got sway-away's on my 73, and yes, one bolt will handle height adjustments within about a 3 inch range, more or less.
yes on corner balance also

no experience with erp

I assume you mean Elephant Racing Products? Different company from ERP, both however manufacture performance parts for Porches.

I have installed and used many Elephant Racing parts and they are all of high quality.

I also run ERP suspension on my car, so in case that is who your question is about, they are high quality too!

Cheers

Jeff is correct, ERP is an entirely different company. Elephant Racing, LLC has no "P"

There are now two different Elephant Racing spring plate products which offer adjustability benefits.

QuickChange Spring plates - A "conventional" spring plate that offers screw-type height adjust for easy ride height / corner balance. It is a "simple turn of the wrench".

Should you exceed the available adjustment range, you can re-index torsion bars (or swap sizes) in minutes because the torsion bar can be extracted without having to remove the spring plates or any bolts.

ASP - A sophisticated spring plate alternative that alters the camber curve for superior performance. It provides fast and precise adjustment of camber and toe settings without crosstalk. It may also be combined with the QuickChange Splined Hub to gain the same height-adjust and torsion bar swapping advantages of QuickChange Spring Plates.

Chuck, can I find the first spring plates on your website, and how much are they? I only seem to be able to find the 935 type.

Garrison

They are on my website. scroll through the menu for "QuickChange Spring Plates".

Note 1 - they are available for pre-order, and will begin shipping in October.
Note 2 - Pelican will be selling these, but does not yet have them on their web site. Telephone to order.
