Cool

I had a spare brake caliper decal... makes the 5.00 license plate look a lot better



Also made some exhaust tip covers and painted those black, to avoid getting the bumper dirty... Need to adjust them, just some quick photos

Question

Got some small parts that I misplaced (and will sure find after I do the install) for the sunroof air deflector... now I need to find out how the heck these are installed...

LED license plate light

Thanks for the tip. I just finished an RSR backdate project was stumped on how to create license plate lights without drilling holes where I didn't want them. I saw your thread, ordered the lights and just finished installing them. They work great and no additional holes!

If all goes well, by the end of next week, the car should be done...

They are fixing the small paint details we found, installing the front lip, side mirrors, finishing fitting of the headlights, fuel filler setup, front fender side mesh, and install of side scripts.

At some DE, sure!! But our car is not setup for hardcore racing... Jeremy would be running circles around us, lol.

Once the body is done then we have to drop the engine and tranny to clean it up, paint the engine bay, fix the crushed oil lines (using the pressured air method), change oil seals, injector boots, go over the brakes...

But I want to take it to the track for DEs...

Side mirrors are also finished...but I will install those since I left the bolts at home, duh!

Still need to replace the rubber hose with a flexible one as the 90 degree one that I got was not a perfect fit...

To make the drain/water catcher it is just using a cheap bowl as the mold. Fiber glass over a bowl. Once dry, remove the bowl and you get a nice FB piece. Wish we would have left it in raw fiber glass... But it got painted the same color as the tank.

Then we cut the stock filler pipe just to use the section where the cap screws on. Some epoxy to glue it to the fb bowl, some seam sealer. Weld two bracket to hold it at the brake base, one 90 degree bent rubber hose and voila!

Where did you pick up the cover you mounted on the hood
