I got a new set of wheels

Today was a beautiful day in Colorado so I thought I would snap a few pic's. It won't be long before the 911 is parked for the winter. I got a new to me set of wheels that were redone by Mr Weidman. The inner section was bead blasted (then clear coated) and the outer is original anodize. He does great work.

Very nice! Let's see some close up pics of the new wheels, & how long is the current wait list with Harvey?

Very nice, I like the raw look. I like seeing different finishes.
good job.

My new wheels will be 'unfinished' so i can paint them. Yours makes me wonder if they will look good raw and clearcoated.

Just when I thought your car couldn't look any better you made it look better. Way to go. What a great look. I love the understated all business look the car has.

Danny, In a previous thread Rich mentioned it was Bali Blue. I think it's a Porsche color but I'm not sure.

Lovely. I so much like the rear end without that hideous wing. Yes, the color is spectacular and so is the scenery. Heck, the mountains almost look photo shopped.

Just to clarify, I meant that in a good way. I chose it for my own FJ and I think its a stunning color.

Thanks for the remarks. The color is a 356 color called BaliBlau or Bali Blue. I think it is similar to Albert Blue.

My Dad had the wheels done a while back so I am not sure about the wait. He is selling his 88 so he wanted to keep these in the family. So we traded my 7's and 8's and these are 7's and 9's.

We are having some great fall weather here in Colorado. the mountains in the background are the Flat Irons in Boulder where I work. I actually live about 40 miles away next to the foot hills but not as dramatic as these.

Very nice. Makes me miss Colorado. Lived in Castle Rock for a year and loved it there. Oh, and I love the car too :-)
