"miles on engine" would be irrelevant as this is (as stated) a virgin sample from Brad Penn, 20W50.
I seem to be fighting Lab accuracies here,.... (GEEEEZE) The first virgin sample returned a 6.5 TBN, of which rx'd many "WTF"s? It looks like I go from Blackstone's Z & P errors (having the manufacturers in an uproar) to questionable TBNs on BP (this is exhausting....) CHARLES: do you see this (2nd pass) TBN as typical? Thanks to all!!! My best, |
Sample was virgin...(no miles)

Does anyone here have any additional comments on Royal Purple Max Cycle 20w-50? I'm thinking about buying another 5 gallon pail for my 3.2.
Thanks for the help. |
Go ahead, it's still as good a choice as Swepco 306 or Brad Penn 20w50, just make sure you keep an eye on the cat (or put in a bypass), as I've had one customer get a clogged cat from running it.
