Just wondering if anyone's done a power brake upgrade on an early model.

I did it on my '75 by taking a panel from a later car and transplanting the floor sections. Lot of work, you need to run the vacuum line and all, but it was needed in my case as I wanted to fit Turbo brakes.
I did not weld it in, but used structural rivets to hold things in place (like about 40 of them) and it has done well for about 10 years.... Dennis

I've got Turbo brakes that I've run without -- and now with -- the booster. I prefer the booster. But Bill's correct that the car will stop just fine without the assist (your right calf muscle will just end up bigger).

I am faced with "upgrade" by PCA Club Race Scrutineers on my '74 911S to run as '83 Euro SC. (H-->F stock class) next season. It looks pretty intense, tedious and a royal PITA. So I either do it or get another racecar. Not exactly a winter project I look forward to accomplishing. YMMV
