This is diving me crazy what is this a picture of?

Picture is spose to be from a 72 911T coupe. It is of a set of rear wheels due to the rotors being wide telling there is an emergency brake. The differencial does not look like porsche and it is not a independent rear. PLease help it is driving me crazy

That looks like a rear end of an Alfa Romeo.

That's an Alfa Romeo differential. It appears to be an early 70's GTV or Spider with MFI, judging by the fuel pump above the axle.

Thanks, since looking at it, all I could see was the white wall tire mounted backwards

Didn't old Alfa's use a big leather strap to limit rebound travel of the rear axle?
...you can see part of it there in the picture.

yes they did, I don't remember the diff looking exactly like that though with the bolt on axle tubes on the two 74 GTV's I had. I does have the panhard rod in the right place though. Also the stock discs were not drilled so it looks like a GTV with rear axle mods.
