Porsche Crest Best 911 Upgrade for less than $200???

What is the best upgrade you have done or you can recommend for an 85 911 Carrera Targa for $200 or less.

I found a previous post like this before I found $200

As I always say, thanks to you all in this great Porsche community that help me drive my Dream car.

Without you all I would be unable to keep it on the road!!!

Best regards,
Daniel Womack

for me, the first thing I did when I bought the car was engine oil change and tranny oil change twice. The first change last me 1 or 2 day then change again since the PO left his car undriven for a long time and oil was dark as mud. After these changes, the car run and shift totally different.
The above cost maybe $100? On $100 left, pick up a cute girl for a date

Man, no cute girl will go on a date with me. Not even for $100, I guess I am just that ugly.

I found new wipers for driving in the rain to be a very nice upgrade. World of difference.

Turbo tie rod kit is around that price. Don't know if it is worth it though.

High energy ignition HEI cables. I got mine at a pick your part auto wrecker for less than $20.00 and they came out of an 86 Chrysler LHS.

I would lose the factory steering wheel and get a Momo with a spacer behind it. Finding a used one on eBay would leave enough change for shift and throttle linkage bushes, and a toe and camber check.

Can you really buy a track day and a tank of gas, or a corner balance and alignment for under $200 in the US? Over here a decent trackday plus gas is more like $400, and alignment and corner weights is getting on for $600 at a half decent place.

Track Day: Yes

Corner Balance/Alignment: Depends on who you go to. $200 is really low though.
