New set of rear tires--best place in LA or online

So after a great track session this past wednesday at Willow at the end of my rear tire's life i find myself looking for a set asap

These would be a rear set for an 05 997S

The OEM's are

Michelin Pilot Sport PS2
295/30-19
i see ones that have an N1 rating and another without...any difference?

tirerack has them for $474 each
$983 shipped
N1 rated
no info on puncture warranty

discount tire quotes $494
$988 shipped
not an N1 but OEM supposedly
they offer a no questions asked puncture/damage replacement policy for another $133.50 for the pair

any other thoughts on tires and/or places to buy them from?

Also, any LA installers that take care of wheels and have a hunter balancing machine?

thanks in advance

PS: i mostly do long distance commute drives with weekly canyon runs and as of this weekend a DE event at Willow

Try edge racing. I got Wheels and Tires for my VW super cheap.

I believe Globe Tire on La Cienega and Venice has the Wheel Balance machine

Wheel Enhancement is a stones throw from Globe and they took good care of my powdercoated wheels. They are Porsche specific. They will mount your tires after you get them powdercoated black

+1 on Edge Racing. I've used them several times with good service.
Consider the Hankook RSz212, or the Falken 615. With the amount of street driving you do, you shouldn't consider RA1's unless you can put them on an extra set of wheels.
The first set of Hankooks, I was able to get 8k miles and 5 track days. Pretty good for a $90 dollar tire with that kind of grip! I likely could have gotten another 2k miles of street driving out of them, but not another heat cycle!
