Adjusting Windows

I have just replaced my old style power window regulators in my '78 911 Targa. The window does not go to the top of it's travel, leaving a 1/4th inch gap. Can someone, please, tell me how to adjust the height of the window? My Bentley manual shows how to adjust the old style regulator but is of littl to no help.

Thanks to all who reply,
Bob Johnson

If you remove the door panel and plastic vapor barrier, (plastic sheet) you can see the allen head adjusting screw through an opening in the door. I believe you need to lower the window about 3-5 inches until it is visible through the opening in the door.
Then you just loosen the allen bolt and slide the stop a bit. Then retighten the bolt and raise the window up to recheck the adjustment. Good luck.
