Question Is my Marelli dist. supposed to have a condensor?

My 1971 2.2l has a Marelli distributor with out vacume advance and has no condensor. There is a bolt hole where the bracket would mount at the base.

My 70T 2.2 has a bosh, no vacuum adv, no condensor. All the points do is tell the module on the left in the engine bay when to fire, it's a low voltage circuit with no condensor needed to build up voltage to fire the coil. Consequently the points basically last forever.
Hope that helps.
