Your plot is well conceived, but poorly executed. Reference www.TheSith.com / sith 101 to learn what NOT to do in such an attempt.

Do SC's with all aluminum 5.7L LS-1 motors count? They do weigh 60 pounds LESS than a 3.0 and have more than twice the power...
I mean, hey, if we are gonna be evil, be EVIL for Petes sake… :P

SUPER. I second Adam's post above.

I say we hit the Carreras where it hurts. We'll sneak into their garages and snip the filaments out of their girly little air flow meters. Then we'll steal the fuses from their o2 sensor preheaters. They'll spend weeks trying to figure out why their cars won't run. In the mean time, we can take charge of all the OPEC countries and have the world in the palm of our hands.

As for those guys with the earlier cars, well, they dont run anyway.

Although Warren could be a force to be reckoned with.
A one man force, kinda like Charlton Heston in Omega Man.

I think the powers of the man of steel could hold him off long enough for us to make our move.

Nick.

SC stands for Super Costly, as in "tensioner failure".

Leland,

I have taken control of New Zealand, all sheep have been issues with SC's and I am proposing to launch a full attack on Australia once the sheep have reached a suitable level of competency.

Training is progressing slowly due to the modifications required (their legs are too short and they have no hands). Even Bruce Anderson's book seems to have overlooked these difficulties.

Any advice will be gratefully accepted.

Neil

All right here's the deal:
SC doesnt stand for super carrera, although that is close . Not Super Car , although that is true . Not sexy car ,although with those hips( check it out from behind)it certainly is .
Ready?
The factory guys thought this car was so great, advanced, refined, and significant that the engineers and drivers determined it needed a special designation.... (Remember all you 84 + car guys.... Carrera was only to be used for special models) They loved the speed and handling qualities of the "S"....... hence S in remembrance of the "S" and "C" for Carrera ( race in Italian)for a very special auto.

Unfortunately the marketing dweebs went and spoiled everythingand all the heritage associated with Carrera in the past (including the SC) and used the the Carrera monikor for the 84-89 in hopes of atracting the gold chain crowd, which they did and continue to!
Whereas the engineers, the actual guys who designed, built and tested the fabulous 911SC, named the SC.

Now beat it out of our thread!

Show me your old tensioners or scram!

Will I be spared???

I have a 914 with the heart of an 82 CIS SC Motor. However, it does not have true SC blood. It has been tainted by the dark side with a SS air box and Carrera Tensioners

Please spare me, I will try not to be pass another omnipotent 911 SC on the track again, I promise.

I must confess, I don't plan on leaving my SC stock. I know, I know, Perhaps i'm no longer allowed in the club, but in order to show those punks the potential of the "simple" SC engine, I am creating the weapon of ultimate destruction.... TOP SECRET though. It will, once complete, put all previous and late model Porsches to shame... WATCH OUT. Should you wish to support the cause, please send money to:

Erhm, so does this mean I'll have to replace my 231 hp Carrera with one of those ALL WONDERFUL SCs with 180 gas guzzling ponies (NOT)? Hah... You fools don't realise what you're up against:

Hydraulic tensioners, better fuel economy, better torque, more horsies, stable idling and no blown airboxes

It's about time we SC owners get some respect! Sometimes I feel like the Bastard stepchild of the 911.Yea, we don't have those cool looking carbs like the 2.4's or the fancy electronic injection like the 3.2's BUT we have more power the the 2.4's and better reliability the the 3.2 ( I'm getting over 400 miles per tank of gas ) and he last time I ran against an 84 I ate his lunch!!!.. You SC hypocrites with Carrera tensioners should be ashamed of yourselves. I no longer have any sympathy for you SC guys losing sleep at night, hoping the air box doesn't blow tommorow when you crank it up.

I'll just wake up with a smile and enjoy my Motronic chariot with the silky smooth G50. I unfortunately have to refrain from the 915 bashing since some of my fellow brethren must endure that same hardship.

Another one infiltrates the SC stronghold! Call in reinforcements Leland, Your paltry DO NOT ENTER sign isn't cutting it.

No hard feelings, really. All 911 types are a special breed.
