Psssst, Hey buddy, over here. Hey I got some information for you. The first generaton car guys want some of your parts.. They are secretly stealing. Brakes and door panals. And some are even taking steel flares. and putting them on the early cars..I even heard of a early car with a 3.0 motor in them... Hey I got to go I just heard a 2.2 pull up ..I will give more information later. please meet me at the park under tree..

Heh,heh,heh!!!!
The 993 (real 911) brothers have you SC (slow car!!!) clique covered. There are more of us (63 900) than you (58 200). Give up now while you still can and get a real Porsche!
Our special weapon? We will make sure that the dealers do not have any parts to sell, so that you cannot fix your broken cars.
Heh,heh,heh!!!!

Luxury ... have no use for it whatsoever. Porsches were meant to be sports cars.

Must have light weight nimble car. 69-73 with RS motor and no smog requirements (read 250 hp!!) is the ideal.

SC doesn't fit the bill. 78+ Carrera is worse.

Meet you at the track or on that twisty mountain road. Just try to keep up....

Oh my god, Paul H, I cannot believe that the All Your Base Are Belong To Us has already made it over here to the 911 BBS.

The BBS where that whole craze got started is one of my regulars. The guy that made that flash - and a lot of the pics in it - is Bad_CRC, one of my gaming buddies.

For those left in the dark - nevermind. It would take too long to explain. Suffice it to say that All your Porsche are belong to us!

Move zig! For great justice.

Good point, as as for you non-SC owners, GET OUT. I'll be the bouncer in here from now on and I don't want to hear anymore about anything that is pre 78 or post 83. Grrrrrr.

Who permitted SC owners to come to this 911 BBS anyway??? Maybe you shouldn't be so sure of yourselves... hah hah hah....

PS: It seems that we Porsche owners have too much time on our hands. I guess it will all get better when spring gets closer... It still snows here

Leland,

What about us "certainly not an early car" and "by no means are they SCs" duck billed cars of the middle 70s?

Can I get special treatment since my car really wanted to be Super but just came out Carrera?

I guess our lot in life is to travel through the world having no special club to which we belong. The lowly, certainly suspect 2.7.

But I swear I have corrected every screw up that was installed at the factory.

By the way, we never had this conversation.
Hey I almost forgot, I wish I had a V8 lives!!!(R.S.)

Leland, we don't have to worry about any invasion into the SC Society, I think the V-8 movement is on the upswing.

Cool

Just moving this to the top of the list, we can't take over the world if we are lurking 3 pages back.

I like to "dominate" just as much as the next guy, but how can we take over the world without some sort of flag?
Ya gotta have a flag, man!
(Okay, I'll settle for a window sticker).

Beware the slueths: SCs with the C2 update disguise and those with the with turbo disguise and all the older 911s, 356s, 914s, and even some beetles and buses with transplanted hearts. A whole army ready for covert action!

I thought SC was short for, “standard commuter” – you know like shopping trolley.

It’s pretty obvious that Leyland’s original post was inspired by a horrible case of early car envy.

Ah here it is.

"The thread heard around the world"

Just thought I'd revive it in case some newer members needed a history lesson.
I say we start a web site. WWW.scworld domination.com or something. We could create a SC regestry, make a hit list of all non SC P-owners who wish to bring us down. Maybe start a classified page for SCs and SC parts.
Pictures of cars...
Subversive SC material, documentaries, and all sorts of SC propaganda.

Whaddo ya think?

I know you are just trying to poke a little fun here, but it has been said many times over. A Porsche is a Porsche, is a Porsche. Everyone else is just a mere mortal.

Secured my sector

Leland,
Good news..after much heavy battle I have secured my sector!
I have beaten them into submisson with my headers! They now raise their hands in praise of the SC every time I drive by. Why, sometime they even run down the street after me just to get a glimpse of what is surely one of the most beautiful cars they have ever seen.
Awaiting your next command.

His Wife: Psssst...don't tell him.... but the reason all the neighbors are outside raising their hands when he drives by is that his car is soooo stinkin loud...and they are reaaaalllly mad. Some of them even chase him, I am afraid if they catch him they'll hurt 'em. I don't know what to do. I don't know what has gotten into him lately...he just walks around the house in a daze constantly repeating (something like) "...scwdp...scwdp...scwdp...scwdp...scwdp...scwdp.. .scwdp" Can someone help me?

Thanks be to our esteemed Founder for reviving the thread. This charter document marks a watershed in Porsche history....the formation of the SCWDP.
