WOW, 959 parts look CHEAP compared to this...

I was trying to make my self feel better about ordering a whole bunch of 959 parts. So, I wondered out loud about the Carrera GT parts. Jeepers! $7K for one brake disc. Caliper is $4K. The silicon carbide clutch, $14K. Cylinder head gasket, $583. At least the air filters are cheap at $63.50. 959 ones are $280.

I guess that is one way to justify the 959's part cost. Maybe I should use the 959's part cost to justify my 911's needs...if I did that, I'd have the Prototipo I've been staring at online by now!

I think all these parts are worth it. Both amazing cars. I think the GT has carbon rotors which should probably cost $7,000.

I remember a show on speed channel where they were talking to Jay Leno about corvettes on how he just drives them to death and cant break them. He told a story on one of his friends curb checked their Carerra GT and it cost them somewhere in the neighborhood of $70K to fix!

A new chassis will set you back a mere $125k

But you can order it.

How many of these do you have is stock, Wayne?

You ought to be, since you can do the Hella kit for a little over $100. The Bosch ones are still only about $500. Wayne sells both.

My bad, I just checked it again. I swore the thing said $400 each side for the Bosch H-4 full-upgrade kit. Hmmmmm. . .

Sorry about that.

Okay, I guess I'll gripe about my $80 spent on two breather hoses then. Still a drop in the bucket compared to a 959.

I was at a Porsche dealership a while ago that had a damaged CGT in the shop. The parts manager was drooling at how big his numbers would be for for monthly parts sales.

I have a friend who just bought a 997 GT3RS. He was complaining about the front spoiler scraping everything. I heard these are inexpensive to replace, anyone know? I was thinking $110? Wayne, do you have parts available for this particular car yet?
