			Hey, I'm thinking about buying a 1978 SC, and the add says that the engine was rebuild 8,000 miles ago.  Car is from Oxnard, CA with 157k miles on it, new paint and all... I think its pretty as heck!    thanks a lot! Merry christmas- Chris   | ||

			Wow, nice color.  Changing the oil now to me would be a good idea. You can look for shavings(god forbid) and possibly spot any other potential projects.

			i talked to the owner, one Bryan of Oxnard, CA, he said that the car's engine was rebuilt in hawaii, so im pretty sure it wasnt motormeister!   im excited, is this car going to be a good investment? i sure hope so... chris   | ||

			Send a sample of the current oil to Blackstone. For $20 they can tell you if there is any abnormal amounts of wear metal, if the car has blowby, and a few other things.

			Seriously cute car! Maybe get one of the LA guys like Dave at TRE to do a PPI for broken head studs or Hawaii style rust. That way you can enjoy it with confidence. | ||
