ID of Relays Behind Dash

I have no turn signals and also no emergency flasher. So, I pulled the two guages on the left and pulled some of the relays behind to have a look. What I see are from left to right [looking thru the guages] in a block of 4 sockets

1] silver tall metal relay, 944 615 113 00 which I think to be the AC relay
2] tall black plastic relay, 944 615 116 00 which I think is the power window relay
3] empty socket
4] short black plastic relay, 111 953 227 00 which I think is the flasher/turn signal relay

Are these in correct position? The Flasher relay will fit in either socket 3 or 4. I have no flasher or turn signal placing the relay in either socket.

thanks

1) AC
2) Power windows
3) ?
4) Flasher/turn signal

You are correct, not sure about the positions though.

The correct flasher relay has five blades (as opposed to pins). They come in other shapes if after market. Factory is black squatty and square. My $10 NAPA relay is still working fine; I tried that first.

The flasher relay i have and assume is bad is a 3 blade relay [as is the one pictured here at PP]. Maybe the aftermarket types have 5? That would seem odd.

I put a new flasher relay in this morning and still have no emergency flasher or turn signals. Fuses are all good too. Hmmm

I remembered that I removed the door buzzer/seat belt timer a while back. That is what goes in the empty socket I had noted above.

Digging this thread back up after a continued problem I have with no turn signal/emerg flasher. Looking at the wiring at the relay socket for the flasher once I removed the socket from inside the dash and notice that it has 5 wires leading in to it. The three-spade flasher I have only hits on two of the connectors. There isn't a connector for the third spade. I thinK I'd like to find a 5-spade flasher as DW SD mentioned. Might you have a part number for that??

thx
