Emergency Break button stripped

Hello,
My emergency brake release button popped out today. When I place the spring and it back into the shaft and try to screw it back on it just spins. Is this a simple fix or do I need to rip apart the whole e-break assembly? Can I order a new e-break button? Would lock tight work? I thought of JB weld, but what do I do if I have future problems? Is this a common issue? Any help is appreciated. I tried to do a search on the forums for this issue but I didn’t have any luck (Doesn’t mean it’s not there, just that I am bad at searching)

Thanks

It may have helped my search if i spelled brake correctly!!!

I've used "hot glue" in the past, works great. Let it set up over night
