Is anyone aware of any tech articles available discribing step by step the tuning of Webers? Also anything on sizing the jets for proper performance.

There are a couple of book on the market that are just on webber carbs, and Performance Products advertises a 911 tune up video that I would imagine (hope?) would have something on carbs. I have not bought any of these yet, but will be buying all in the near future. Sorry I couldn't help more.

the variations are all across the board. if you post the specifics (engine, cams, compression, etc), it would be easier to suggest what sizes to start with. then you have to fine tune it from there. there is no absolutely specific formula. it takes a lot of test driving to see if you making improvements, or making it worse. some guys like F3 emulsion tubes, others like F26, for instance.
