Hey Buddy, just went to the shop yesterday she was inside at the lift next to a 911 twin turbo 2000 with 1,000 miles on her and $33,000 DOLLARS IN DAMAGE ,the whole nose was gone,so my din't look that bad,the report is :new inner and outer rigth quarter panel, complete door, winshield, repair the 2 wheels,3 new tires, control arm, shocks, tail lenses, new front spoiler, the car at the time is going for 12,000 US,on repairs without opening the door, well cut it out, i figure theres another 5 to 7 grand some where in there, the whole car will be painted, and they do some awesome work boy,so im driving a 1989 ford tempo,oh boyy what a ride!i miss her so much but she be back, as soon as she gets out the engine is comming out maybe raise her to 3.4 im trying to figure out where to get the 275 hp that i need, good news i get to go in a cruise ship from Puerto Rico for 7 days to repair a 18 V 460 milimiter bore engine, from there to another cruise from miami for a
12v 460,from there to Honduras in central america to rebuilt 2 18 v 380 engines and finally to Panama to do 4 18 v 460 engines, so i will have a little cash to waste in the car, so she be back better than ever,i keep in touch, thanks for asking.

Juan, I know where you can get that extra horse power. Sneak into the shop late at night and swap engines with that 2000 Twin Turbo.

Juan - you don't replace tires in 3s. Demand a fourth tire. There is no reason not to.

Good luck with the fix. My car was in for six weeks with the work they did.

I would also recommend a *serious* inspection of the transmission - or just outright demand a rebuilt unit from Vertex (that's what I did). The insurance company is faced with a $2000 bill to crack the tranny open to look - and you know with having the rear quarter hit that hard, there's going to be some tranny damage. They'd rather just replace it with a $1000 rebuilt unit from Vertex.
