Post MFI Questions

On my 72 911 with MFI does anyone know the fuel pump pressure? How about the pressure at the injector? I pulled an injector and thought I could just use compressed air to see if it opened, but even at 80lbs it didn't open. Didn't want to go any higher cause I'm really not sure of what I am doing here. Thanks in advance.

Kurt,

The fuel pump 'loop' pressure including the filter and inlet to the injection pump, and return to the tank ... is 15 psi. The minimum injector opening pressure is around 230 psi.

Quite a bit of info ... probably more than you want to read at one sitting is available here at Pelican:
