Mashed my alternator nut putting everything back after a fan/housing cleanup, and of course couldn't source one on a Sat/Holiday. Put an order in with our host for 2, (at 1.75 why not have a spare) and found out "in stock" really means "in someone else's stock, we'll order it for you."
Needing the car for work, I spent plenty of time searching threads and was close to trying the 5/8" tap when I decided on a whim to give John a call and see if he had one "in the pile". "Sure, come on down" he says.

I'm letting the PP order show up eventually, so if anyone is desperate for a Bosch alt nut, I'd be glad to hook a brother up. As John and so many others on this board continually demonstrate, the only thing more unique and special than the 911 we love is the people who pour their hearts into it, and send the karma back out again....
