RSR pistons in a 3.0 - CR seem right?

looking to put 3.0 RSR pistons in an '82 3.0 with stock heads. I come up with a CR of about 8.4:1. does this seem reasonable. figuring an RSR combustion chamber volume at 76cc ( according to Bruce Anderson ) and the SC at 86cc ( measured by me). the pistons are 10.2 RSR pistons so with the larger combustion chamber of the SC, using a compression ratio calculator, I came up with 8.4 ( or so ) as a CR. any thoughts?
