Friends:
There's more than one way to skin a cat. Why add flares to make your 911 wider? There's another way. Back in the free-thinking '70s, the dreaded Alan Fritze and Pelikaner Grady Clay took an innocent Targa, applied a Sawzall to the centerline of the entire body/chassis, cut it from spoiler to rear bumper, then moved the two halves four inches apart! Unfortunately the resulting gap remained unfilled, so the project was never completed. I have incriminating photos somewhere... Frank |

Hmm subed,, and why does every one use stock tail lts ? ( rather then the little R Lts ?)
|
Has any one added reverse lights to the R lights last I saw you had to put reverse somewhere not in the lights you get?
|
here are our R lamps available with reverse sections

I think they are the rage !! Once you pull, your stock ones out , you will say in words that will be herd for several blocks "These old things are HVY !! I should have done this a long time ago!"

That is exactly what the next project will be. The front end is MUCH too high. Here are the current specs: Front: Pavement to the bottom of the fender measures about 26 1/8". Rear: Pavement to the bottom of the fender measures about 25 3/4". Front: Pavement to the top of the tire tread measures about 23 1/4". Rear: Pavement to the top of the tire tread measures about 24 1/2". BTW, the tire sizes are: Front 225/50-15 Rear 265/50-15 Any wise advise will be greatly appreciated. :D Not even sure if I want to tackle this myself. Ed C |

Where's the brown car Rod?
|
This "is" the brown car. If you look in the background, you'll see the old hood. I just put it on a major diet. Fiberglass flat hood, fenders, doors, lexan all around (minus windshield) 6lb braille battery and I took out all of the few remaining non essentials. Hence the respray. Overall I think I cut out 175-185 lbs. Havent driven it yet, but Im sure it will feel like a different car.

This car looks amazing. Very well done. The others look fantastic as well. What would a body kit like this, this particular one -- professionally installed and painted -- cost? With the wing? A few years from now, this is the path I'd like to take. Thanks. |
this thread needs to be first page once more
|
i intend on posting a pic when my car is actually photogenic ,sigh
