Can someone please advise on the proper proedure for removing injectors and the seals and replacing using standard tools?

If they are CIS injectors, this is what I did. Went to a parts store and bought a fitting for the injector, less then a buck.
Fabricated a "T" handle for it. Put a lot of penetrating oil on the "O" rings around the injector, and while pulling on the "T" handle use a wide blade screw driver to pry, using a twisting motion, at the base of the injector. I have found injectors broken off in the boneyard from attempts to remove them by prying with a screw driver or something. The injector is very narrow right under the threaded portion, and that is where I have seen them broken. That will cause a major pain in the #@%. The injector must come straight out, without lateral stress. Oh, and for the install I applied silicon lubericant paste and pushed them right in by hand, with a shop towel. That's my offering.
