Newbie....
Just like everyone else on this forum, I've wanted a 911 forever.
Finally found a great opportunity and brought it home about a month ago. 90% of the car was in boxes - the other 10% was missing. Engine was rebuilt, tranny was rebuilt and the car had been painted - all about 12 years ago. Due to some health issues, the po wasn't able to finish the project he started - so I became the new project manager. Here's a couple of pictures - a before - this was when we picked it up in Vegas... ...and a couple of afters - back in Colorado. As you can see, there's still some parts needed and quite a bit work to be done, but I am making some progress - even though it's been really cold here lately. I'm sure you'll be seeing quite a few posts for advice, identification of parts and parts wanted over the next little while. Thanks to all who have already helped me get this far. It looks great and looks like you are making progress on assembly. What are you missing? Welcome to the forum!

Hi Rob, nice car...
That snow shovel leaning against the wall brings back a lot of memories that I want to forget... I get cold just thinking about being on the working end of that shovel.

Car looks great and it looks like rewarding project to put her together. What engine do you have for it?

Hey Rob, welcome to the fray. I'm in Boulder, and there's a great community of Pelicanites around here, not the least of which is guru Grady Clay. Looks like you got a great car!

Got it on eBay - because I was going to do most of the work myself, thought it was a pretty good deal...
It was missing a whole bunch of parts, but because the seller said it was a complete car, he's been pretty good about getting me most of them. (if anyone has a set of engine tin seal they don't need, I'd be interested...) Yep - been using that snow shovel a bunch this year -been an unusually cold, wet winter so far... The original 2.2 engine is already back in...although I have to take it out again to replace a needle bearing in the tranny.....here's a pic - it's been totally rebuilt including new e cams and pretty nicely detailed webers...
