Part # = NLA! BTW, the engine is OUT!

Does anyone know if there is a crossover part # for the 2 breather hose on my 81SC that are connected together with a factory style bracket.
The part # on the hoses are:
930.107.394.10 PHX 4004 this one is currently available I hope.
930.107.399.00 is NLA
These breather hoses are located at the very back of the engine and the one that is NLA is really in need of being replaced.
Where can this hose be obtained?

For those of you that I have been receiving valuable info. from on my head stud issue....It is Sunday night and I just got cleaned up from my garage mess......THE ENGINE HAS BEEN REMOVED.....as promised.
Now I have to become an electrician and a plumber to get this mess off of the top of the motor.

Congrats!!

You will find that you can pretty much unbolt the manifolds from the heads and lift the FI off the engine as a single unit.

For the hoses, you may need to identify the metric sizes and purchase a length of the correct hose from our host then cut to the proper length.

I found that taking documentary pictures will be useful during reassembly.

I took the old hose to my local NAPA store and bought about 3 feet of 1" hose to replace the old hose on my '80 SC. It fits like a charm and is a LOT less expensive than Porsche hose! You can get a black rubber hose (less expensive) or a red rubber impervious to everything hose (more expensive) Like you said, the other hose (going from the oil filler neck to the air box boot) is still available.

Thanks! I have no idea how you did this by yourself! I have a buddy help me and I am glad he was there. I did take the CIS inj. off last night and thank goodness for the digital camera! I think I took 30 pics. The top of the engine had me thinking "what have I got myself into". But I disassembled one thing at a time and I am almost down to the long block.

I was thinking maybe that is why this hose is NLA. Due to the fact that it can be easily obtained at a parts store.

Years ago I had pulled the engine on my vw bug several times. So, the basic idea was similar. I think that helped my confidence.

Now, I'm thinking I should replace those hoses as well. I've finished the valve adjustment and will be changing the CV joints next. I am very tempted to upgrade the rear suspension "while I'm in there" but I think the budget will prohibit that project now.
