				 | 3.2 oil sending unit
I am in the process of replacing my tired 2.4 with a 3.2. The mechanic that is making the engine change says he can't figure out how to make the oil sending unit read right on my current oil gage for a 1972T. Does anyone have any suggestions on this

maybe use the 72 sender? minor adaptation due to thread sizes, but shouldn't be difficult.

2 ways are possible. first, check out this site for one answer.... http://www.pelicanparts.com/MotorCity/marcesq1/ John's photo appears to show a pre-made adapter, I had one made for a few bucks. When I did my conversion I went to a local shop that makes AN hoses. He took an AN fitting and cut off the end, tapped it for the oil pressure sender and I assembled it. Works great and doesn't leak | ||
