Which multimeter?

I see that Pelican Parts sells a few different multimeters. Which one would be a good one to get? I want to be assured that I don't get one that I will quickly outgrow as I advance along the learning curve.

Any informed opinions out there?

I would have asked Warren, because his thoughts were always so kind and detailed, but sadly we need to forge on without him.

Cordially, Greg

A good middle of the road Fluke will handle everything you will be doing.

Can someone supply specific model numbers for the mulitmeter and any helpful accessories? I checked the Fluke site but there a lot of models out there!

Thanks for the expert advice!

If you can and want to spend the money, try to get one with that ammeter clamp thing. Very useful for trying to track a drain. Just my 0.02

That being said, I still sometimes use an old analogue multimeter that use to belong to my dad.

Anyone ever used one of these? It's sooooo cool.

A Fluke or any other type of DMM is fitting for a 996/997/Honda, but for a classic 911 just screams for something like this.
