Lightbulb

Instead of going through the trunk area to see what's up, why not try pulling the clock and speedo forward, and shining a light in there while running the wipers..........

just an idea.......S in VA

either the linkage broke, or the nut holding the linkage to the motor's shaft is loose. in rare instances, the motor runs but the shaft won't turn.

Hello

The crankarm on the engine had come loose. Just check the technical pages as this is shown on how to change the wiper end position.

Sucess!!

yup it was the nut holding the mechanism to the motor had wound itself loose.

took hours to re set the park position for the wipers though. eventually settled for 'almost right' position, will reset later once i get more time.

Also great opertunity to sort out ventilation system. burt out fan etc etc etc...
