RPM's at various speeds

I did several searches but couldn't find what I was looking for; forgive if this has already been covered.

A stock 1984 with a 3.2 (no modifications), what would be the normal RPM's cruising 75mph in 5th gear? Before my engine was pulled, I was at about 3000-3100 RPM at 75mph. Does this sound normal; it just seemed at little high? Thanks.

Of course we can assume the legendary accuracy of the 911 speedo.

Thanks, sounds like I was about right. I was verifying speed with my GPS, my speedo was about 5 mph off a all speeds.
