Not a great product cause it doesn't have the module to flush the C4 ABS system. You better buy the module that most of us bought for a fraction of the price... check the rennlist 964 forums....

Garage
I concur with the Oracle. I had a durametric and it was inferior to the rennlist delio that Oracle has. I ended up borrowing his tool and sending back my durametric for refund.

This is great info, since I was on the verge of purchasing one. Will check out the delio and rennlist.

Here's a better scantool app than Durametric and less expensive:

Loren, that won't even work on a 964! Durametric just released a new version that does everything that the hammer will do and works on a 964

Really! And you tried ALL functions, e.g. ABS brake bleeds, activations, & etc., right?
Had problems with it on later Porsches, so not accepting "claims" without total testing.
For the Rennlist DIY unit, many indicate that it works better.

Loren, I think you missed the point. The guy was asking about a diagnostic tool for a 964 and wanting a Durametric. You recommended a unit that does not work at all on a 964 but stated it was better and less expensive than the Durametric. Why would you do that? You are in the automotive electronics business and I would have assumed you know this.

Durametrics new version will do the following on a 964 according to their web site. Is it better than the DIY on Rennlist? I couldn't tell you.

Read Codes
Reset Codes
Actual Values
ECU Information

It was indicated to me that the Autoenginuity app would be updated to work
with the 964. As mentioned, it's a better product for all later Porsches than the
Durametric app and cheaper as is the DIY one on Rennlist for just the 964.

Very limited compared to the Bosch Hammer, e.g. no activations.
