Question 81SC throttle stop microswitch?

Anybody know what the microswitch mounted to the throttle linkage just behind the air cleaner cover is used for AND how to adjust it correctly? Does it have something to do with the cold start valve?

I think this switch has to do with the A/C. I do know it should be adjusted so you hear a "click" as soon as you lift or close the throttle. There is a separate throttle position switch (black box, right of throttle) which tells the "computer" when the car is at idle and when it is at full throttle so it can modify the funcion of the frequency valve appropriately (if you have your O2 sensor connected).

Nick.
