The front went windows open on my -72, so I believe they were changed later.
As a matter of fact, in books I have seen them on 74 and 75 cars, so they may even have been like that until the arrival of the SC (but I could be wrong here).

Front vent windows could be opened on coupes until 1969. After that, only Targa's retained the opening vent windows.

Are the front horn vents supposed to be chrome? I thought your car was supposed to have black ones...

Bumperettes are missing.

"S" trim below doors does not look stock.

Don't want to be nasty, but having read the posts - What's right?!

The main lights weren't standard for that model either.

The vent windows were removed to meet US saftey requirements. Something about exhaust and gas fumes could enter through the vent windows? Go figure. However, the rest of the world kept them for some time. That's why a lot of euros have vent windows.

My .ooo1 cents

Well, what's the correct answer? The suspense is killing me! Is it all of the little things mentioned above, or is there a glaring problem that we've all missed?

What's proper? If it's your car, and it's set up YOUR way? It's proper! @ the 1978 Porsche parade, and he'll never remeber this..one Mr. Jim Perrin looked over my car, made some comments to me about what he thought was correct...or rather, "incorrect".

Jim Perrin? I live on the west coast, and I'm a member of the R Gruppe. Need I say more? I could if you guys wanted me to...
