Tony, did you check measurements of that flare? If you haven't, they are described in great detail here: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/298521-welding-flares-longhood-rsr-alignment-questions-3.html

About halfway down is Eimkeith's great post with definitive numbers.

Also this is my 1st ever restoration ......so i'm learning as I go.

What color paint is that?! Its wild; and minty fresh;). Is it an IROC color?

WOLVERINE 06-28-2008 08:57 PM

That's the high build primer,it comes in various colors, and I felt it would best suit the color I have chosen for the base coat...2007 911 RS GT3 GREEN

Thats the color that inspired me too, but I ended up going vipergreen, with black accents. Close enough. Your car looks like its coming along great so far!http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1214723137.jpghttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1214723231.jpg

Reaper930 06-29-2008 02:58 AM

Tony,
You've been working hard. Looks good.

Al

WOLVERINE 07-10-2008 05:39 PM

Due to my 1st setback (not adding hardener to the primer) of my project , I will be soda blasting the tub and in the process will be going a different route as far as color.
I will be doing a Gulf Blue (code 328) with a Gulf Orange (019) stripe running from front to back only.

Very impressive work.
