Fuchs on a 965 what in the world

Now that I have your attention, I have a 82 with a 965 style widebody kit. I keep looking at taking the spacers off and putting on a set of of 17x11 and 17x9 inch wheels, what do ya think, I am also considering a hardtop, Kevin

Nope. You need some speedlines.

I still think the 5 petal look of the lindsey's will look too dated. It's a modern car compared to the fuchs, so it needs correct era rims.

The 'backdating' sort of negates the argument.

Just the opposite of the 82 to 965; updated.

HOWEVER. That's a GREAT looking vehicle!

I agree with a modern wheel not a fuch. Car is great looking with the current wheels.

Stick with the modern wheels. They look great on that car. Maybe a set of GT3 wheels?

There are many manufacturers who will do custom offsets for you and have center designs other than Fuch. That is what I would do with your car. Fuchs would not look good, too retro for your updated styling.

RarlyL8 I have looked around and i am not gonna spend 4k on wheels to drive on the roads in indiana, I thought about seeing if they could take a set of cup one wheels and cut the centers out and weld them like the fuchs, Kevin

+1 - the fuchs add too much bling.
