I have a set of 14" Fuchs? Who makes a space-saver tire that will fit a 14" x 5.5" rim?

None of the tire shops in my area will do this for me, regardless of how much $ i offer (within reason). They all tell me the spacesaver will be severely damaged and they don't want to be held responsible...

Well if you head up to lake geneva anytime soon about 3.5 -4 hours from where you are at, i can get it done for. I just need to find a wheel now that I have the shop lines up and another space saver spare just in case they bugger the first one!
Thanks for the Tips! JW |

JW, just curious why you are avoiding a 16. Someone above said it could be done, and they seem like they are a little easier to find and not bad on $$ either. Also, as far as the 6x15's go, check Samba. I was on there a little at lunch today and they had a few 6x15's listed, mostly in sets of 4 though. I think the avg price I saw was $250 wheel ($1000 for the set). You would have to find three other guys wanting to do this, well, 2 other guys, I think you already had one taker above. Anyway, you might try them out...

I like the look of the 15s or the earlier for some reason, I know I know. I keep thinking it will be easier to do the 15x6 than the 16x6 either one I guess will work for me. I just heard that the 16 and the space saver can be done it's more a pain in the ass and it doesnt fit as nice as the 15.
At this point I dont care what i get I just want to mark this project as completed!! ![]() JW |
