Reflector mod update with pics

Well, she's almost done. I wish it was light outside still. I will haev to get better pics tomorrow. I am pleased overall with the way it turned out. The only thing I have left is to wetsand and polish the exterior side of the plastic, and then decide whether I want to do this on a reflector in better shape or not (only with respect to chips and scratches mind you). I also have to glue back on the attachement clips. Anyway, here are some pics of it laying carefully in it's normal resting place...

[For a brief writeup to get to this point, go here: Rear Reflector Refinishing Experiment

P.S. Please excuse the messy garage!

Shane, are those stock 7" Fuchs in the rear? If so, pick up some 21mm spacers to fill those wheel wells. Inexpensive mod to give the appearance of 9" wheels.

I did this and love the look. Details in this thread. Picked mine up on ebay for about $40.

Anyone have 928 21mm spacers on a 911?

Well,. I guess I am a daylight photographer... these turned out much better. Aftrer looking at it on my car, my HO is that it looks pretty good, but would look really good on black or silver car, possibly white. I took a few pics...

JMO but I think I would like that a bit better if the dark portion was just a bit lighter to give it a dark red look rather than an almost black look.

That being said. I think it is a great new feel for the reflector.
