Are you happy with Neatrix spring plate bushings?

Currently my mechanic came across the crack that developed around the torsion bar where the torsion bar cover bolts into. Since he has to weld and remove the spring plate, while he is there I was thinking to change inner and outer bushings.. He thinks the cracks were developed from heavy tires which are 345/35/15. Dealers do not sell bushings separately and I do not want to spend $400 for each spring plate. Alternative are Neatrix bushings. Does anyone had any problem with them? My car is not a track car. Do the bushings squeak? Thank you in advance.

The cracks are from age. Big wheels and tires just hurry it along.
I have Neatrix bushings, and yes, the squeak. My only issue with them.
Could be you can lube them with something, don't know.

I have Neatrix spring plate bushings and they were installed with monkey snot (dunno the real name for that lubricant). No squeeks from them for the past 4 years.

No squeaks from Neatrix here. Glued them to the spring plates.

Neatrix shouldn't make a true squeak. They're rubber and grip-twist in their mountings, no individual rotation between parts. Squeaking could be sway bar bushings since there's actual slip going on between moving parts.

So is the crack on the spring plate or on the chassis? Please clarify. If your car isn't tracked, Neatrix are totally 100% the way to go. Even if your car is tracked Neatrix is fine. Is the mechanic referring to the big tires due to hard acceleration? Hard launches like drag racing could cause the cracking. I don't think it's necessarily related to lateral cornering forces.

I track my car with stiffer torsion bars and R compound tires. My Neatrix look fine after 3 years of track events on my car aforementionedly (is that a word???? it is now......) equipped. I can take a picture of them if you'd like, since I currently have the rear suspension disassembled.

Kevin,

The cracks are on the chasis on both side. Like Brian mentioned earlier, the age of the car and plus 345/35/15 put more weight on the chasis. First I was a bit sceptical to use Neatrix bushings, but the feedback I am getting from most here, is that Neatrix if fine. Is it normal for the chasis to crack? I have never seen cracks around torsion bar cover.

I've done 2 SC's and one Carrera with Neatrix, and never had an issue with squeaks.
I used "Lexel" glue on the inside of the bushing, and allowed it to cure for a week prior to reassembly.
