Unhappy Another Disaster - Urgently Need Help!!

I simply cannot win this past few weeks...

After spending a significant amount of time cleaning and preparing my air shroud for a new coat of paint, I set it in the driveway to dry before hitting it with the first coat of primer. Unfortunately, my wife hit it before I could, using her car instead of the primer. As such, my air shroud is destroyed.

I believe I saw a company that sells these parts, and I'm not sure if they're aftermarket or not. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get one of these for my '78 3.0L engine? My mechanic is ready to put this thing back together, and I really need the car back soon, so I obviously need one of these quickly!!

Thanks!

Try Parts Heaven http://www.partsheaven.com./index_a.html They sell used parts and might have a shroud in stock.

Sea,

Look in Pano and other mags, there are several companies who can provide the shroud used. What area do you live? Have used one in Atlanta, Oklahoma and so on...

BTW, just how many weeks is she now providing your favorite dinner, backrub etc for this little faux pax???

With these cars, $100 does not qualify as a disaster. With Porsches, only needing to spend $100 (for a part that was run over by another car) is a blessing.

Leland & Superman are leaning toward the disaster categoty.

That little disaster was mild compared to MY wife's little lapse of concentration a couple of weeks back!.
After completing a successful auto x at the Pompano Harness track which had been shot by my wife on my brand new Panasonic digital video Camera, we went to leave when I reversed into something!!!!!!!
It was the wife's handback which had been left by the rear wheel and had her cell phone, my brand new cell phone, a new 35mm camera and..... yes you guessed, the new video camera!.
Luckily the video camera stopped the car from crushing everything else!
Unfortunatly it crushed the video camera!!!!
Love her!!!!
The tears rolled (hers not mine-just!)
But I didn't have the heart to be mean at her- it was an accident after all!
