That's a neat car, saw it at Huntington Beach Concour last year. It has been for sale a long time.

I like Jerry's matching 94 3.8 Cup Speedster better actually. Its also for sale.

Ugggh, 993 Turbo S cars do NOT trade at 80k. If they do, please point me to one so that I can buy it. 'Normal' 993TTs maybe, but not the S cars. Nonetheless, $225k is Sloan pricing...

Why does a guy with more money than God care so much about charging a six-figure price premium on his car? It's been for sale for at least a year or so. Clearly it's not selling because he doesn't want to sell it for less than that. (Or am I wrong, and the car is no longer owned by Seinfeld, and it's actually the current owners (a dealership?) who want the extra $$$?)

Seinfields car

Frankly, I dont get it.

A porsche is a porsche regardless of who owned it.

What I really dont get with Seinfield is he buys this car, a unique car, gets it painted a unique custom colour and then doesn't drive it.
I dont get it!!!!

More money than anyone really needs???

Speaking for myself, a couple of porsches is all I really need, or am I really getting old in my thinking.

SInce its been listed all over by several "brokers" I would guess those brokers are trying to squeeze the money out of it

Cool color regardless. He can afford to wait for someone that will pay big money for a comedians car.

Jerry has the last US 993 to roll off the line in the same color. It is painted at the factory in that color. Definitely a collector car.

Actually, I'm pretty sure the car isn't on consignment from Jerry, it's owned by RPM. I remember when they first got it, they listed it at around $175K or so on their site. They probably got a lot of interest at that price and decided to give it a "bump".

Correct, Jerry hasn't owned this car since sometime in 2005....

there's a good article on an auto blog about it

Probably Art. After all, he's in the import-export business.

Exactly. And someone earlier in this thread mentioned how low the miles are, but relative to the other Turbo Ss on the market, this one has pretty high miles. Go figure

Actually, raising the price is an old real estate tactic used on properties that have been on the market for a long time. Go figure, raise the price and hope someone falls for it.
