Question using Wurth High Build Underseal

I am about to reseal all my wheel wells with this Wurth product. I've scraped off all loose old sound deadening and powerwashed the wells and I noticed that it appears the old sound deadening was only placed on the main body and not the innersides of the fenders. To be period correct(1984 911 cab) should I only spray the main body and not the undersides of the fenders? I am in the process of masking off shocks, brake lines, oil lines, etc but just not sure how much to spray up in there.

I have an "84" Turbo Look and my fender wells are under coated. I've been told by some knowledgeable TL owners that is correct for my car. I'm not sure whether you car came with or without under coating.

I think it's good question for an interesting discussion.
