Hello everyone. THis weekend I flew from Houston to Ohio and purchased and drove my dream car Home. I have had an 83 944 (I know it's not a real Porsche), then a 73 911T. I purchased an 85 911 Carrera targa about 5 years ago (which I still own).
The latest edition to my Family is an 87 911 Cabriolet Turbo look with 85k miles!! All I can say is that is the most fun 1200 mile trip I have ever had!! Thanks everyone for your time and comments. Actually the car was a RUF conversion which included the brakes, suspension, interior, etc...
The car has 85K miles but the top end of the engine was restored 5k miles ago including the pistons. The last owner had the car for 12 years and only put 20k miles during his ownership and he kept it in a climate controlled garage. I honestly think I will keep this car for life. I am sure I will have questions for you all when things need to be repaired. I appreciate this Forum / Community very much. Thanks to you all for your help and support through the years! So how would you compare this to your other 911's? I'm particularly interested in your comparison with the 73T.

Nice car. If it was converted by RUF it was done right.
Nice car. Drive it and enjoy it. Don't save it for the next owner, just enjoy it and take care of it.
