Will a 964 center console fit in an SC?
I was looking at some pictures of 964's and I like the way those center consoles look. Especiallly with the leather shift boot and all.
Anyone know if you can install this into an SC chassis? Any modifications necessary? Thanks!

You may be able to shoehorn one in there but it will be a fair bit of work. It won't just bolt in. Not worth it to me...

www.9xauto.com sells a 993-style center console that is advertised to fit the older cars.

The 9xauto is the same console/pictures as Better Bodies.

Darrell (nashville84cab) has one in his Carrera. It looks great. I am not sure if he has an actual 964 console, or an aftermarket piece. You can look him up and PM him though.
