nope, no one on here, it went to a local fellow who had never owned a porsche before...
the color is called iris blue (not to be confused with iris blue of the 80's which was your eye iris rather than the flower iris). i've seen a couple of them around, but never with tan interiors (always blue or grey). 1996 was the last year of the color. see my sig and this link for more pix.

Still just a hair dark for me.

I think (personally - one guy's opinion) that "Cobalt Blue Metallic" is the nicest color on the newer P-cars. My local dealership had a Carrera there for a while in that color. Good God it made me practically orgasm whenever I saw it! It's a very "alive" color in the sunlight!

This picture doesn't even do it justice. I have dreams of re-spraying my 944 in this color eventually.

Isn't that a GT3, not a Carrera? Or is it an Aerokit?

I like Cobalt Blue Metallic, also, but i think that in bright, direct sunlight it seems a little purplish or something to me. It looks a little off. In dappled light, morning light, overcast especially, and most other times, it looks great.

I like the Albert Blau, Minerva Blau, and Metallic Blue from earlier 911 days. They are simpler, too, as they don't have the black base coat, blue color coat, metallic flake, and clear coat. Imagine a touch-up
