RSR Wheel Sizes

Do you know what size of wheels did the RSR use?
What offsets did these wheels have.

What about tire sizes?

What would be your recommendation for the largest wheels and tires to use in an RSR replica which will be used only on the track?

Thanks

What year RSR??? The early ones came with 9&11X15 Fuchs.

Depending on what you have or are building, you can get a set of 9&11X17 3 piece Fuchs built by Sonjay who post here.
His phone # is (407)421-1911

I have 9.5x11x17 2-piece Fuchs made by Lindsey Racing. 275/315 tires, with room for wider in back.

Jack:
Thanks for your answer and pictures.
Do you know what offset or backspacing you are using?
Are you using any adapters or the wheels bolt directly to the hubs?

My hubs aren't in the stock locations. But Bill Verburg on this board has a great web page devoted to wheel fitment.

Jacks fronts are about as big as you can fit, on the rear we usually spec a 11.5 with the same 315 rear tire Jack is running.

Cheers

I'm running a set of 9&11x17 wheels on my project car. The fronts have the same offset and backspace (measured 138 mm to extreme back edge) as 9x16 Fuchs. My rears have 6" of backspace along with 5mm spacers. My rears could use a bit less backspacing.

Basically I think 5.5" of backspacing on the front and rear wheels is a good starting point for 9&11" wheels. This backspacing suggestion is for widebody cars not running turbo suspension or spacers.

Here's an interesting thread on widebody scrub radius:
Question about scrub radius

Another pic with 9x17 wheels up front (front needs to be lowered a bit)

Tires for 9&11x15 Fuchs are extremely expensive. If you're looking for a track only application I'd strongly consider 17 or 18" wheels due to a much better tire selection vs. 15" tires.
